    Topgolf venues are growing fast and we are looking for a dynamic professional to lead marketing strategy for our venue business. The VP of Marketing plays an integral role in driving revenue growth for the company across channels. Reporting to the CMO, this individual will be responsible for setting a scalable campaign and programming strategy and driving the successful execution of that plan across all consumer segments and products.

    Partnering closely with Operations, this role helps bring marketing campaigns to life in the venues through our 20,000+ Associates.  Our ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a multi-unit retail, entertainment or restaurant environment and be used to working in a fast paced, ever changing landscape.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute marketing strategy for Topgolf venues in the US (50+ venues)
    • Identify revenue generating opportunities across venue business and build business cases to test and scale new opportunities
    • Spearhead paid media strategy
    • Manage marketing and paid media agencies to create world class marketing content and strategy
    • Oversee integrated campaign strategy, including social media, creative and communications
    • Owner of pricing strategy and optimization
    • Partner with guest insights team to identify trends in guest behavior or feedback and leverage data to tailor marketing plans and campaigns
    • Manage and develop team of brand and field Managers/Directors
    • Oversee field and localized marketing strategy
    • Oversight for the venue marketing calendar and partner with operations to define programming calendar
    • Stakeholder in international marketing playbook
    • Measure for success and continually evaluate the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions
    • Briefing and collaborating with creative, corporate communications and marketing ops groups to deliver tactics for all venue campaigns
    • Drive department values of teamwork and collaboration, startup-thinking and creativity

    Key Qualifications

    • 15+ years of experience in fast paced marketing environment
    • Experience within the Hospitality, Entertainment, Restaurant, Hotel, Retail or similar guest-focused industries
    • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
    • Must be a strategic problem-solver, an influencer with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical capabilities
    • Experience with event and field marketing
    • Experience translating customer insights into marketing strategies that drive revenue and grow customer value.
    • Excellent strategic thinking and leadership skills
    • Robust written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong leader with experience managing large teams
    • Self-starter with the ability to adapt and multi-task
