    The purpose of the Director of Partnership Activation and Experiences is to ensure positive client relationships, event activations, and exceed performance goals while growing revenue. The role is responsible for the day to day management of the Client Relation and Experiential teams and working across our business units to integrate sponsors into Topgolf experiences. The candidate is tasked with increasing brand reach, guest visits, and renew and grow revenue and EBITDA. This position plays an active role in account renewals, secures venues for Topgolf mobile experiences, manages the Client Relations and Experiential department and oversees internal execution processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversight of Topgolf Corporate Partnerships Activation and Topgolf Experiential business areas; Manage each functional area’s strategy, budget, talent staffing and development
    • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Topgolf’s Corporate Partnerships business model, as well as the company’s overall operational strategy and vision
    • Drive corporate partnership renewal strategy, contract negotiations with brands
    • Oversee planning and execution of Topgolf corporate partner and prospect experiences (e.g., annual partner summit, B2B events, etc.)
    • Develop strong, trusted relationships with strategic and top-tier clients, and be viewed as a trusted advisor while representing both client and Topgolf’s interest, resulting in growth for Topgolf and for our partners
    • Identify and drive strategy around partnership renewals, upsell opportunities and new business models and revenue streams
    • Support sales team through development of best in class sponsorship activation model (e.g., case studies, tiered benefits, partnership research & activation measurement)
    • Work with partner marketing team to manage brand guidelines and guest experience standards

    Key Qualifications

    • 10+ years of progressive work-related experience in sponsorships, client relations, and event activations with a sports and entertainment property or agency
    • Team builder with established track record of successfully managing, motivating and developing a team. Experienced in cross-functional work with ability to lead and manage projects across organization
    • Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and proven ability to manage complex projects and execute large-scale events in partnership with multiple stakeholders, sponsors and vendors
    • Demonstrated ability to gain credibility with executives and key stakeholders, as well as negotiation and persuasion abilities required in order to present ideas and recommend strategic initiatives
    • Established track record of creating systems/processes to guide integrated partnerships into action within a complex organization
    • Demonstrated ability to initiate and direct multiple project assignments in a relatively unstructured environment
    • Strong analytical capabilities in Excel, PowerPoint, KORE, Salesforce and other data/research tools (SMG, Scarborough, Surveys)
    • In-depth knowledge of sports and entertainment industry trends and competitive insights
    • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline; graduate degree is a strong plus
