    The Director of F&B Research & Development is responsible for the strategic design and direction of Topgolf’s Food & Beverage offerings for our 40+ venues in the US. The efforts of the Director will drive our quest to delight our Guest’s with fresh and creative offerings that support Topgolf being a dining destination of choice.

    Topgolf prides itself on providing an amazing selection of culinary choices that range from popular staples to the latest epicurean trends. For the beverage menu, Topgolf provides our guests with a curated selection of the finest spirits, craft beers and cocktails designed to please any pallet.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research and Develop New Offerings
    • Studies market trends, strategies and operations of other successful restaurant concepts to create and maintain a competitive F&B strategy.
    • Attends conferences and networks with industry professionals to stay abreast of culinary, consumer and restaurant trends, new processes, food products and applications to apply to Topgolf where applicable.
    • Designs and executes the regular innovation of new menu offerings to keep the menu fresh and exciting for our Guest.
    • Leads the internal food R&D committee responsible for menu-related decisions including, but not limited to, menu items, names, pricing, flavor profile and presentation. This applies to regular, event and special event (i.e. VIP Party) menus.
    • Strategizes the time & effort necessary to implement new menu items/LTOs and provide regular feedback to Senior Leadership, Marketing, & Procurement.
    • Develops seasonal LTOs that are aligned to industry and guest trends to continue to drive traffic and positive perceptions of Topgolf as a F&B destination
      • Collaborates with training partners, National Director of Culinary Operations and National Beverage Director on the development and updating of culinary and beverage training materials
      • Works collaboratively with third party partners as well as internal Topgolf culinary and beverage talent to design and launch new F&B offerings
      • Supports Culinary Operations team with execution and communication plans for all menu updates and modifications. Report to executive leadership on the progress of these plans.
    • Process Management
    • Contributes and commits to formalized F&B Process with timing to ensure most the most effective menu and LTO implementation.
    • Collaborates with departments such as: Marketing, Finance, Technology Innovation, Global Partnerships and Operations Services to support the venues most effectively.
    • Protect the Brand
    • Track Guest satisfaction with our F&B menus to impact future strategy and menu design.
    • Oversee Procurement and Vendor Relations
    • Maintain affiliations with culinary institutes, restaurants and associations.
    • Source and manage world-class vendor relationships.

    Key Qualifications

    • 5+ years current experience as a senior leader in a recognized Food and Beverage program for a multi-site organization
    • 12+ years of progressive strategic design / content creation / programmatic leadership experience in F&B within the entertainment, hospitality or restaurant industry
    • Ability to design and prepare culinary dishes and beverage offerings
    • Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally, specifically with the Culinary and Beverage execution teams
    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
