  • Overview

    The Social Media Coordinator is a key role on the Global Marketing team responsible for the creation and maintenance of a strong online presence for Topgolf. They will implement online marketing strategies through our local social media accounts.

     

    As a Social media coordinator, they will develop original content ideas, suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand. Ultimately, they should be able to increase traffic to our owned channels and drive customer engagement metrics, aligned with broader marketing strategies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement the local social media strategy through Topgolf Marketing Managers (based at our venues)
    • Monitor local social activity and provide feedback to the field to ensure brand voice consistency and social program effectiveness
    • Develop and implement a program that utilizes social tools to support in-venue personal connections with Guests to enhance their experience
    • Pull key data and learnings for social pages and initiatives to help better understand effective social strategies
    • Support other social functions including the brand pages, brand extensions, influencer program, paid media strategy and quick connect program
    • Monitor the social industry trends and changes to help Topgolf continuously evolve

    Key Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • A passion for social media marketing
    • Strong writing and grammar skills
    • Experience influencing people
    • A data driven approach to business recommendations
    • Being in-the-know when it comes to pop culture and news
    • An artistic eye for identifying strong social content

     

    Preferred but not necessary:

    • Experience utilizing the social media management tool, Spredfast
    • Strong understanding of the Topgolf brand
    • Local Marketing experience
