    Topgolf is seeking a Superhero of Technology Leadership to blaze strategic and cultural trails at one of the fastest growing and most exciting companies around.


    The purpose of this new Manager role within our Technology Innovation (TI) team is to lead all efforts that affect our current site infrastructure and enable new site builds.  Each Topgolf location features an impressive food and beverage menu, music, games, technology-rich hitting bays, and a huge Audio/Visual installation.  You can imagine the technology infrastructure required at each physical location and in the cloud to deliver extraordinary experiences.  This team runs the data centers inside our existing 38 US based sites as well as building 10+ new data centers per year given our site expansion plans. 


    This leader will directly manage all internal and external resources who work in these areas today and be responsible for growing the team as appropriate.  He or she will also be accountable for budget, planning, performance, and culture – within the group and also across the larger Topgolf leadership team.  The role reports directly to the Director of Infrastructure & Venue Technology and is permanently based in Dallas, Texas with periodic travel to our US sites required.

    Key Responsibilities

    As the sole leader of all technology infrastructure at Topgolf, this individual will leverage their own deep technical expertise and that of internal/external team members to:

    • Set strategic direction to achieve company near and long-term goals, especially specific to infrastructure selection, system/network availability, service levels, security, compliance and R&D activities.
    • Implement and evolve our current cloud technology strategies.
    • Perform security and regulatory compliance tests and respond to requests for compliance and audits.
    • Evaluate the impact of planned features on performance, monitoring and management, and infrastructure scale.

    Topgolf’s technology infrastructure includes:

    • Site and Enterprise Networks, Physical Servers, Virtual Servers, Databases, and Middleware.
    • On site operational systems (Back Office Systems Hardware).
    • Associate & Guest Wi-Fi at each site.
    • Large Audio/Visual Entertainment footprint at each site.
    • Digital Signage.

    As a member of the Technology Infrastructure & Venue Technology team, this role will collaborate in setting and implementing the overall infrastructure vision, taking personal responsibility for any needs observed across the larger team – especially as they pertain to our people.

    Key Qualifications


    • 10.1+ years’ in technology roles, across multiple disciplines, as well as significant exposure around the business
    • 2.9+ years’ in a technology leadership role & vendor relationship management
    • Proven ability to influence and lead others in a multi-team environment


    • Expert level:
      • Leadership, conflict management, and negotiation skills
      • Understanding of hardware design, development, and implementation processes
      • Written and verbal communication skills, as well as Time management skills
      • Hypnosis of audiences small and large
      • Recruiting, hiring, and coaching for performance and growth
      • Security requirements for Infrastructure
      • Ability to establish credibility with business and TI stakeholders and become a trusted partner
      • Organizational and administrative skills, including Executive level prioritization skills
      • Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
