What You’ll Do

The Hospitality, Safety and Security Manager (HSS Manager), reporting to our Operations Manager - Guest Services, is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for Topgolf Guests and Associates.  The HSS Manager is the primary point of contact for all venue physical security, will establish and enforce safety and security policies and procedures throughout the venue, and will manage the facilitation of Associate safety and security training.

The HSS Manager leads our team in providing best-in-class, off-the-chart, rockstar-level service with hospitality for our Guests. By working with, training and coaching our Associates; the HSS Manager drives the highest level of service to ensure our Guests have the best time of their lives.

Key Responsibilities

How You’ll Do It

  • Supervise the team in providing best-in-class service on a daily basis
  • Promote and advocate established Topgolf security procedures and best practices
  • Build strong partnership with local law enforcement and city officials
  • Protect company assets by developing and implementing security and safety programs for Associates, managers and Guests in conjunction with Risk Management
  • Maintain all risk and security reporting to ensure compliance up to but not limited to the following: evidence chain of custody, lost and found, securing video related to criminal activity and/or Associate or Guest accidents
  • Provide recommendations and coordinate implementation of policies and procedures to ensure integrity of venue operations
  • Provide Risk Management with critical security concerns or Guest issues related to the venue
  • Provide support for unique or high-profile projects in a discrete manner
  • Ensuring and safety or security related issues are addressed in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Oversee all reporting of Guest, Associate or criminal related incidents for the venue
  • Contribute to the safety and security of the venue by collaborating with the venue managers on all safety and security needs, on training and with regular communication with Risk Management
  • Provide in the moment coaching, on-going development/action plans and performance management for all Associates in the realm of safety and security to support and foster exceptional performance resulting in a positive, and above all safe, impact upon our guest’s experience!
  • Create a positive and upbeat atmosphere of engagement for our Associates in the realm of safety and security
  • Coach and develop the team and drive Associate engagement
  • Uphold operating procedures and service and safety standards, especially Guest Satisfaction
  • Ensure all Guest areas are staffed and functioning efficiently
  • Delegate tasks

Key Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in hospitality / entertainment industry
  • Some security management or loss control / prevention experience preferred
  • Exceptional, demonstrable Project Management skillset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills, time management, and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to facilitate training initiatives, listen effectively, provide coaching and feedback to hourly associates, management peers and those more senior in role
  • Team player with energetic and enthusiastic personality
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication, time management and organization skills

  • A high level of self-awareness, receptivity to change and integrity
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
