Overview

The Internal Communications Coordinator is responsible for the internal communications calendar and content delivery, which helps Topgolf Associates worldwide perform their jobs better and stay connected to the brand.

Key Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help build the Topgolf brand from the inside out.
  • Manage the internal communications calendar, prioritizing messages based on importance and urgency
  • Create and maintain MailChimp email distribution lists
  • Prepare and deliver announcements via internal channels such as MailChimp, Workplace (intranet), etc
  • Prepare agenda items for departmental conference calls
  • Oversee content, layout and printing for monthly programming guides and pre-shift meeting notes
  • Write and proofread for a variety of mediums, including, but not limited to: intranet portal, pre-shift meeting notes, videos, scripts, radio, TV and more
  • Champion and train internal communications platforms (e.g., Workplace, High-Five Zone, Tee-Box, etc.)
  • Support the execution of the overarching Topgolf communications strategy

  • Inquisitive: Analytical approach to ensuring that communication is received, understood and internalized

 

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills
  • Operate a personal computer and use MS Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint and required programs
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Adapt to changing priorities and perform basic task work to meet deadlines
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in Public Relations, Communications and/or Marketing.
  • Entertainment/hospitality/retail industry experience preferred.
  • Work as scheduled to meet standards of company attendance policy
  • Work satisfactorily with no or minimal supervision
  • Understand and accurately follow policies, procedures and controls
