Overview

Topgolf is seeking high impact and capable individual to oversee and manage the Back Office system, which our operations and finance teams depend on to properly run our business. This is a high impact role that includes coordinating the efforts of multi-department resources, vendors, multiple systems, and operations teams in order to assure the system is properly configured and maintained.  Must be capable of entering and evaluating data in multiple systems as well as working with various departments to ensure data in the back office system is complete and accurate.

Key Responsibilities

SYSTEM MANAGEMENT:

  • Continuously review inter-department procedures, process flows, data maintenance methods and results to assure the back office systems are properly maintained and evaluate and suggest improvements.
  • Assure the Back Office system is loaded with accurate recipes, vendor information and pricing
  • Make sure that the system’s critical financial reporting and cost analysis are accurate
  • Enact quality control procedures to assure that other departments properly maintain and enter accurate data into the system in a timely fashion
  • Confer with internal stakeholders to determine and optimize the Back of House system’s configuration, rules and specifications
  • Vendor setups in back office and financial system (including review and validation of vendor requirements)
  • Perform coaching and training in support of improving F&B cost measures
  • Perform timely research and provide feedback to field operations regarding F&B measurements
  • Produce timely, accurate, and actionable F&B reporting as assigned
  • Partner with other departments as needed to ensure data in system is accurate and complete
  • Support operations and corporate departments as needed with “how to I” questions, report requests, and function as subject matter expert on the back office system
  • Manage data movement in and out of the back office system. To include monitoring load of data, timely resolution of any errors, and working with vendors and operations to request missing files

Key Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-5 years’ experience working with CrunchTime or other comparable restaurant back office financial system
  • Experienced and knowledgeable with maintaining and optimizing cost control systems
  • Proven ability to partner with and influence others in a multi-team environment.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills required
  • Restaurant experience and knowledge a plus

 

SKILLS:

  • Experience with CrunchTime/Net-Chef is a plus
  • Ability to become a trusted partner to other departments and operations team
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Organizational and administrative skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong customer focus
  • Team player with ability to assist with other team projects as needed
  • Research and problem solving – desire to identify, research, and resolve data anomalies and F&B opportunities.

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
