Overview

Topgolf is experiencing amazing growth.  As a result, we are adding a Director of Talent Acquisition to our Talent Acquisition team.  In this hybrid role, we are seeking a candidate that has the ability to handle an individual requirement load, manage the recruiting function, identify strategies, build talent pipelines, develop key internal and external relationships and report on key recruitment metrics and extended business impacts.  As our team is responsible for Home Office and Site (Venue) Leadership roles, our Director of TA will be responsible for ensuring consistent and timely coverage on all openings.  In the role, you can expect to work directly with key leaders in the organization, hiring managers and have a significant impact in our growth! 

 

Success will include filling Corporate and Site level exempt positions, managing the recruiting function, identifying recruitment strategies, building talent pipelines, developing relationships and reporting on key recruitment and business metrics.  You will be responsible for working to deliver all facets of recruiting success including, but not limited to, developing local and regional recruiting strategies, networking, sourcing and identifying creative recruiting ideas.  You will be an integral part of our HR Leadership team, collaborating with the team on our Hourly Intern and Hiring Events and Emerging Talent Programs as we build our complete Talent Acquisition Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional leadership, guidance and direction to the recruiting team.
  • Develop local and regional recruiting strategies.
  • Develop, implement and continually improve the essential recruitment processes, procedures and resources for strategic recruiting.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment reporting metrics, analytics, and reporting.
  • Stay on top of legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
  • Ensure timely coverage on all openings though managing our growing business needs and requirement load of the Recruiting Team.
  • Suggest ideas and improvements from the user (recruiter and candidate) perspective, to provide additional efficiency and effectiveness of the tool for the team.
  • Create, post and maintain job descriptions and advertisements for open positions.
  • Source, prescreen and coordinate interviews for exempt positions assigned.
  • Extend offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidance of compensation policy.
  • Partner and collaborate with hiring managers to clearly define position needs, requirements, preferences, and evaluation criteria.  Meet with hiring managers on regular cadence to discuss progress of openings and set expectations on deliverables.
  • Use a wide variety of strategic resources to rapidly identify highly qualified, passive candidates in a cost-effective manner, screen and interview candidates and provide selection consultation to hiring managers.  Coach recruiting team on the same interactions, as requested.
  • Track and improve our “batting average”, which includes time to fill, while never forgetting that these statistics are secondary to getting the right person for the job.
  • Participate in the development of ongoing creative and cost effective sourcing strategies.

Key Qualifications

  • MINIMUM 10 years of high volume, full life cycle recruiting experience in an Agency or Corporate environment (ideally, both).
  • 4+ years current Recruiting Management experience leading 3 or more resources.
  • Experience working in organizations supporting field and corporate recruiting efforts.
  • Experience fostering a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's and that emphasizes the mission, vision, and values.
  • Lead Associates using a development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
  • Budget management of $4M+ annually
  • This is a hybrid role…we are looking for someone that still has their hands in recruiting every day!
  • Superior communication skills with experience influencing others with well thought out recommendations, as well as strong presentation skills to a wide range of audiences.
  • Extensive experience working in an ATS and with MS Office products.
  • Must be able to travel to sites, recruitment events, local career fairs, and/or college recruiting events, as required.
