SUMMARY
Topgolf is the ultimate venue for FUN! We are looking for a Director of Operations (similar to an Area Manager / Area Director in other organizations) with a strong passion for day to day business operations, people leadership and development. As a DO for Topgolf, you are an integral part of fueling the future of Topgolf teams across the nation! The Director of Operations (DO) you will be responsible for the management of all associates as well as the overall health and vibrancy of our team concept. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of this site, with the vision of maximizing financial potential, providing Best In Class service to our guests, and developing a culture of excellence within our team of TopPerformers.
  • Weekly forecasting, oversight and management of all labor to coincide with forecasted sales and costs. Will develop action plans to maximize guest counts and to maximize spend per guest averages.
  • Manage, coach and develop the performance of all operating departments including, but not limited to: Golf Services, Food and Beverage, Special Event Sales, Membership, Maintenance and Marketing to insure the highest possible levels of guest satisfaction in a cost efficient manner. Meet or exceed financial goals for the site. Execute and deliver all period-end financial statements and reports, and provide controls to ensure the proper handling and accounting for all site expenses.
  • Review and approve all operating expenses.
  • In partnership with our Home Office, will develop and supervise programs that foster a Best In Class work environment for all employees while ensuring that all employment-related processes and documentation are in compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Perform other tasks associated as necessary in order to achieve the financial performance and goals of the organization.
  • Confers with administrative personnel and reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required.
  • Promotes organization in industry, manufacturing or trade communications and cultivates a well developed relationship with community leaders, organization and members to ensure a healthy community connection, and maximize market penetration.

Key Qualifications

  • 15+ years of hospitality / entertainment / food and beverage experience in progressively responsible positions up to and including managing a large operation in a related industry.
  • Experience as a multi-site; multi-venue manager for an entertainment organization
