Topgolf Media is looking for a QA Analyst to be responsible for executing test cases, monitoring project resources and assisting in executing automated tests for a brand new lighthearted mobile sports game with lot of fun characters competing in many fantastical locations. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy achiever with excellent attention to detail, great communication skills, and great documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze the design of features and improvements to identify edge cases and balance issues 
  • Write comprehensive test plans derived from specs, emails, and conversations
  • Design, create, and execute automated tests
  • Execute manual tests on multiple web and mobile projects simultaneously
  • Log, track, and assign bugs in a bug database, and follow up to ensure that issues are reviewed and addressed in a timely manner
  • Guide projects to completion, from the Development environment to Production 
  • Maintain flexibility to provide sufficient coverage and support for product needs
  • Interface with management and the development teams

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree, preferred
  • 3+ years testing experience on PC, console, and mobile games, required
  • 3+ years of experience testing on mobile devices, including iOS, Amazon, and Android, required
  • High energy and motivation with a passion for games and customer experience
  • Ability to handle shifting schedules and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Responsibility and dependability 
  • Knowledge of bug tracking programs and software
  • Experience writing and executing test plans and working with test plan programs and software
  • Strong bug isolation skills
  • Strong documentation skills
